Hello my dear DA friends!
It`s been a long time since my last visit here, and even longer time since my last post.

First of all, thanks everybody for some many nice comments... and thanks DA staff for the nice support!
I am sorry for being away so much time, I was just taking a little time from the world, to get fat, get older and get more experienced in life being sick again, and again, and again. But now I am healthy, renewed and ready for this new pre-apocalyptic year. I am continuing to work at my Design Studio (FOMA) and now I am a happy owner of a small and brand new Collectible and Toy Store too.

Making films

Things are getting much better these days... I am pursuing an old and long delayed dream that is to make films. I studied by my self for my entire life for this and now I will start walk this path. I hope to achieve something, and I hope I can bring some friends to this dream and help them to be happy with this too... let`s see. In Brazil is almost impossible to work in movie business, so I will try hard and I will finally accept some invitations people make me in this last years.
I am creating a Animation division at my company that will be specialized in 3D, EFX and Stop-motion... we just need I little more $$ to start it.

Conhecimentos: FLASH, ActionScript 2 e 3, Papervision 3D seria um bonus.

Hello dear da friends!
I am still feeling the warm and nice vibe coming from you all, thanks for the visits, comments, favs, support, and mainly THANKS FOR BEING MY FRIENDS.

Some of you guys always say things about the colors I use in my works, well, I need to tell you that they are weird because I am colorblind.

Yes I am colorblindness.

It just don't have any relevance or importance to anybody but me, hehe. But it explains a lot about colors in my works.

My colorblindness is called Tritanomaly that is the most rare colorblindness level for man. Greens, blues and grays are almost the same stuff for me, that's why a lot of my works have warm colors.


When I was kid my mom thought I was crazy, my teachers said to my mom that I have some kind of mind problem... cuckoo, crazy and stuff like that. Well that because I really wasn't a normal kid... I walk strange, dress strange, think strange but above it all...
...All my drawings at school have some blue trees, green sky, blue and green roads and stuff like this.
So, I wasn't crazy... just colorblind!
I learned to deal with that, and thanks god... softwares has that "color picker tool"... it really helps a lot! And I always use something blue or green to serve as a comparing object in my daily life.


My brain works strange, when I had that stomatch cancer that almost kill me... I made a lot of tests, a lot of Doctors said that I really am a very strange individual. I walk using a walking stick, I can't eat normal food, I have a very strong level of dyslexia, and I have a enormous foot.. LOL!!! haha! And my brain process images different at low light environments, like night... so... I guess my teachers was kind of RIGHT..
I really am a little bit crazy.
But.. who's not?!

Hello folks! How are you all?

Just posting fast cos I don't like to make journals, but I need to say thank you guys for all nice comments, visits, notes and mainly thanks for being so nice and give so much attention on my works.

I don't know how to make that nice and colorful journal posts, but I really do love some DA people works, I will learn how to put DA people icons, just to show my respect and appreciation.

About comments

I usualy don't reply messages in my homepage, but I do like ti visit everyone that makes a comment in my home, so I reply in their homes!
I don't like to just replying here in my home, cos I want to know with who I am talking, and that's the way to see a lot of good works from you guys.
So I do reply to everyone, but takes a while cos I like to see your gallery too!

About FOMA and WeeNeeds.

FOMA Studio is going well, we are not having time to make a fancy website, so we will release very soon a simple one, and maybe later do something more detailed and different.

WeeNeeds is in full speed, we are start the production of our first line of toys, plush and plastic, but we are doing everything ourselves, because we don't have money... So we are doing the plastic molds, sewing, painting and all is hand-made. So it will take a little more time to be done, maybe and December things will be ready!

So, see you good DA people: "You are the real good ones"

I'm kind of busy right now doing some works for São Paulo Fashion Week 2007, it will be busy days for me, but I don't mind, work with this is very very cool, hard, but cool!
I can't upload here these works now, but after Fashion Week I can, and I will put some of them here ok!


Warning and people stealing me

Some people notice and warning me that my favorites count is all at "0", I believe it's a little bug in the system, but don't worry people, favorites is not as important as your comments are for me, I believe DA will fix that later.

Some other people reports me that some guys are stealing my works and putting on their websites, well... I don't have much to say, cos it's happen all time... but I personaly mail them one by one, and ask them to reconsider and give the right credits on the illustrations, 6 of them already did that. but the other 2 don't, anyway... I believe they know that it's not right, but bad guys are everywhere. If they keep doing that, I will post their personal contacts here for people, I believe it will be quite embarassing for them.

Learning again the DA stuff

I notice that peoples homepage on DA has amazing looks, with a lots and lots of friends Icons and informations. I promess you people I will learn how to set and do those things, so I will be able to put some peoples icons and links to works on my page too. I have seen a lot of amazing works on DA these days and NO recognition for these amazing artists. So if I can help them to get that recognition, even it will be like 000000,1%, I will do.
DA changes a lot in those last years, it is a Kick Ass website comunity now, great resources and features for helping people! Love it.

HELLO GOOD FRIENDS!

It's being 3 years since my last update in DA.
I'm very sorry for being hide all those years, but actually I don't hide from you. I just keep contact with a few people here.
And YES I was very sick, I had a very rare stomach CANCER, but I'm good now, I feel great and ready for jump, and kick and everything I was not able to do in last 3 years.

I LOVE YOU PEOPLE, I REALLY DO!
Thank you very much for all the kindness and nice words you gave me all these last years, I now... I'm BACK BABY!
Here are some things I want and need to say:


.:WORKS:.

I'm actually working as a Designer, like I've been doing in last 14 years. I working as a Designer full time at CAVALERA a Brazilian clothing company, I've been doing Illustrations, Stamps and all kinds of graphic design works for them, including a LOT of works for:
SPFW (São Paulo Fashion Week) at Brazil.
I'm doing a lot of works for designers Books and Toys, I create a collective of  Brazilian Designers called WeeNeeds.com, we make Cloths, Dolls and Toys for growing ups and Kids.
Our wesite will be released very soon, togheter with our new collection.


.:MANGA and ANIME:.

As people already know I worked in manga/anime industrie for Kadokawa Japan and a LOT and LOTS of clients, but all these people (clients, companies and enthusiastics), REALLY DON'T KNOW, how to work in a professional way.
They are not prepared and not ready for taking a large and massive production work. They disapoint me VERY HARD! I cut all my business relations with these people cos they don't keep their promisses and dates.
So...
I do not work anymore with Manga and Anime illustrations. I'm sorry, don't ask me for professional works of this kind anymore.
I love Manga an Anime, always will... I love the people and I'm always will draw manga, but now... I will do personal, and just for fun!


.:SERIOUS ISSUES:.

Besides my Cancer decease, I had serious problems with the "getting a litte famous" status. People kind of follow me everywhere I go, they talk and tell thing form eachother, things that NEVER happen, things I never do... and Places I never been, it was kind of funny for some time, but it kinds of creeps me like hell. That's was the second reason for my Hiding behavior. The other thing was, I REALLY GOT SICK! I was having some serious pain, all time, all day and people don't respect that... all my good/close friends, help me to hide and they all say, including some doctors: "do it now, or will be late".
Well that's it.
OLD WEBSITE: it was hacked! Some punk hack it... and I don't have the control of it in last 4 years. DcChan.com IS NO LONGER MY WEBSITE!

Hellow my dear friends!! How are YA all?
It's been a long time since my last contact, sorry people!

These days I've been working hard, I'm very busy doing some illustrations and Design concepts for WebSites everything at the same time (I'm getting nuts ¬_¬''). I need to make more 5 or 6 illustrations for the next 4 days! AHHHHH!!! O_o' BUT loke I said before... Drawing manga is the best thing ever! ^__^''

Well like many people knows, I am very, very very sick right now. I trying to work like a normal person but sometimes the pain is sooooo strong that I Fall on the ground and sleep deeply... for hours.
My Ulcer becomes something worse and now my treatment is very hard, stressing and expensive... basicaly all my economies (money) it's been used to pay the hospital bills.
I don't want to explaing now my problems, but I'm really glad that you care about me people.. I LUV YOU!!

So I can't upload new illusts in next month (I think), but I will try OK!! Ohhhh! I'm visiting DA everytime and continue to read all messages.. but now I don't have much time to reply them all, but I will try OK!? I luv your very nice and helpful comments!!
